The iPhone, Palm Pre, Android have capacitive screen support, while Windows Mobile only supports resistive screen. Even Steve Ballmer mentioned in recent interview the reason why. Microsoft certainly will consider to implement this feature in future Windows Mobile OS releases. More…

Featuring a slider body and larger keypad / font size, Sony Ericsson has unveiled its new T715 slider and will start offering it in Q3 this year. The 3G phone comes with a 2.2-inch display screen, 3.2 megapixel camera (no autofocus) and a smart desktop screen for birthdays and appointments reminder. Nokia has just announced the Nokia 6730 Classic – Candybar apparatus that follows the traditional style of Nokia (simple), but in fact, is a Symbian S60 smartphone complete with: Content GSM / GPRS / EDGE, Dualband 3G HSDPA (900 / 2100 MHz), has GPS, digital camera and a 3.2 MPX secondary to video conferencing, Bluetooth 2.0, FM radio and a microSD memory expansion. The unit is planned for late June through carrier Vodafone.

The site Appadvice just got from source closed to Apple’s hardware development team. The source was willing to provide detailed information on the specs and release date of the next generation iPhone. Since the details are not farfetched and pretty in line with today standard. After the slightly shaky launch of their ultra-early milestone one release, Mozilla is back with more Fennec (otherwise known as “Firefox Mobile”) goodness. This morning, the company began distributing Alpha 1 of Fennec for Windows Mobile.
